We are a Scottish charity working to make life better for people who have a learning disability — and their families.



Highland Wide Support Services

These are not local-only organisations, but they provide important services for people with disabilities, including learning disabilities, communication needs, supported living, advocacy, social care etc. Residents of Badenoch & Strathspey may access their services (depending on need).

Thriving Families

Operating in the Highlands of Scotland, Thriving Families charity serves families who are doing their best to support children with Additional Support Needs (ASN). They offer a range of services, including one-to-one support, online group support, volunteering and peer support opportunities, monthly information sessions, and access to relevant resources.

Befrienders Highland

Befrienders Highland are a small voluntary organisation working to improve the lives of people who are experiencing mental ill health or dementia. They work with adults (aged 18 and over) who are lonely and isolated, and live within the Highland Region of Scotland.
